Please join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Body and Blood of Our Lord: Corpus Christi with Solemn Pontifical Mass and Procession & Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. 
We will welcome our new Suffragan Bishop, the Rt Rev’d Allen Shin, as celebrant and preacher. 
The Choir of Saint Ignatius of Antioch will offer the music of the mass and sing Jean Langlais’ Messe solonnelle, the motet “O sacrum convivium” by Olivier Messien, and the Benedition hymns “O salutaris hostia”by Marcel Dupre and “Tantum ergo” by Charles-Marie Widor.
A festive reception will follow.

Close up detail- the “mutton of God.” The embroidery was repurposed from an old set of our vestments that had been falling apart.

Yes this is a detail of the chasuble (and stole) from our new cloth of gold set, the gift of the estate of George W. Young and the work of Watts and Co. of London. We will be using them for the first time tomorrow evening as we celebrate Corpus Christi with Solemn Pontifical Mass and Procession & Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The rest of the set, including the altar frontal and copes, should be ready of Michaelmas
